Curls for thick hair, what worked for me

As you saw from my previous post, I have been trying to find a way to make my hair wavy without all the heat.  Well.....that did not work.  All of the methods that i am aware of i have tried and they have all failed.  Still I wanted to make my hair beautiful and wavy.  I finally found a way, after running into a girl in a restaurant bathroom that had hair that i have been desperately trying to get, I asked her what her secret was.  I could not be surprised that it was from a curling iron, something that i have tried and has worked but never made good waves and only fell.  So she explained to me that i was using the wrong type of curling iron and where to go to get a good one, which was.....Walmart!  lol. I honestly was not even going to try it because i felt that it would probably be a waste of time and money and that might work but fall flat later on.  After a week or so of going back and forth about it i finally went and got the Revlon Curling Wand, took it home then spent the next 10-15 mins (i have a lot of hair) trying it out and ready for this.....It made the most perfect and beautiful waves! It does take some time to do but it was completely worth it. I would and will recommend this product to anyone that ever asks because for so long i was searching for the right product and  i finally found it and i hope that writing about it could at least help someone else who has been looking too.

Revlon Curling Wand at Walmart

Here is what I am working with:
Straightened

This was done with a curling iron....this was about 4 hours later, as you can see all the curls are pretty much gone.

And, Ta Da, wavy hair! p.s. this was the look that stayed in all night, fell a little but nothing to complain about! super happy with it and recommend if you have lots of thick hair!

I absolutely love this look and am so glad that i finally found a product that I can trust to give me what I wanted for my hair. :)
